Vuonna 1946 perustetulla Saarnien perheyhtiöllä oli saha Naantalissa vuoteen 1985 saakka. Saha-alue jäi Naantalin sataman alle, ja yhtiö tontteineen ja lämpövoimaloineen päätyi Naantalin kaupungille. Yhtiö on edelleen olemassa (2013).

A company owned by the family of Saarni was established in 1946. They had a sawmill in Naantali, but the expansion of the port of Naantali needed the plant of Rymättylä and the city of Naantali bought the company because of its tract. The company is still existing.
