Tartu 26.02.1935 pledge obligation 200 EEK

A property bank, which was founded in 1884 as the Town Mortgage Society of Livonia. It allocated building loans in Livonia excluding Riga. After the states of Estonia and Latvia were formed, the bank continued its activities in Estonia and the name was changed according to that. They continued also under the German occupation but the bank was closed finally in August 1944.

The certificate is signed by Mr. Koppel, Keiss and Lellep. The chairman of the bank was 20 years Mr. Oskar Rütli, whose wife was a Finn.
