A specimen piece of the prize loan of the Soviet Union. While circulated soviet bonds are not rarities at all, this kind of specimen copy is seldom seen.

Speciality of this year 1982 ”vintage” is, that present state of Russia is charged to pay loans back to borrowers. In 1990 Mr. Boris Yeltsin asked to reserve compensations of total 600 mrd euros for borrowers, but state’s finances were empty. Repayment was postponed.
