The steam locomotive factory of Warsaw was active from 1920 to 1935. It started wit a ten-year agreement with the state of Poland, which guaranteed construction of 350 locomotives for the state. First, the model of locomotives was copied from Austria. The engines were exported also to the Soviet Union. The company was closed in 1935 but the rooms were used as a heavy metal workshop also after the war.
